Once the music is made, creators can download the songs and use them in their work without fear of copyright violations, as the music is free to use.
This is not YouTube's initial venture into AI music. The company has previously tried "Dream Track", an experimental tool powered by DeepMind's Lyria that let users to make short 30-second tracks inspired by great musicians.
