Bajaj Auto Technology Ltd (BATL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Bajaj Auto, was also impacted by the cyberattack. In order to mitigate the effect and safeguard its systems, the company promptly initiated its cybersecurity response after the occurrence.
A regulatory filing states that the cyberattack occurred on June 23 at approximately 8:00 AM IST. The company's technical team, senior management, and outside cybersecurity specialists collaborated to contain the attack and stop additional harm as soon as they discovered it.
Bajaj Auto claimed that in order to safeguard its systems, it promptly put preventative measures and reaction procedures into place. The organization thinks that these steps have effectively reduced the impact of the ransomware attack based on the information that is currently available.
