Bitget, a global cryptocurrency exchange, has announced its integration with India's Sahyog Portal, a government website dedicated to criminal investigations. The webpage is part of the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), which aims to improve cooperation between law enforcement agencies and internet service providers during criminal investigations.

Bitget's cooperation aims to provide a secure and legally acceptable conduit for handling official data requests from Indian authorities. The requests may contain user data, transaction history, and digital proof, which are critical in current cybercrime investigations.

Sahyog Portal is already used by Indian law enforcement to connect with digital service platforms.Bitget believes that by joining this system, it will be able to help bridge the gap between Web3 enterprises and government agencies, strengthening cooperation and assisting law enforcement with digital investigations.

Bitget also intends to provide technical tools and aid to investigators in the effective acquisition of digital evidence.Hon NG, Bitget's Chief Legal Officer, noted that the exchange will continue to work closely with local regulators to ensure that its systems meet both legal and technical criteria.

This move comes as governments throughout the world tighten their surveillance of cryptocurrency transactions.Bitget views this collaboration as a step toward creating a transparent and trustworthy crypto ecosystem in India.
