According to Microsoft, hackers are now utilizing AI to swiftly identify and exploit security flaws in Windows computers that have not been updated. Once Microsoft releases a vulnerability patch, attackers can analyze it and utilize AI to launch attacks within hours. As a result, systems that delay upgrades are far more exposed to cyber attacks.

Prior to this change, many individuals and businesses chose to wait days, even weeks, before installing updates. Microsoft has created MDASH, an AI-powered tool that searches Windows code to find hidden security flaws before hackers can exploit them.
