Meta’s Massive AI Expansion: Report Suggests $200 Billion Data Center Project in the Works

According to The Information report, Meta Platforms is apparently investigating the possibility of constructing a huge data center campus that would be dedicated to artificial intelligence initiatives. The building would have the potential to cost more than two hundred billion dollars.  The business is contemplating establishing a presence in the states of Louisiana, Wyoming, or Texas, and senior executives have been touring potential locations during this month.  

Artificial intelligence (AI) investment has increased after the debut of ChatGPT by OpenAI in 2022, which has prompted large technology companies to extend their infrastructure.  Amazon, Microsoft, and Meta are all considerably increasing their spending in order to assist improvements led by artificial intelligence.
