AI red teaming is an activity of imitating attacks to find flaws in AI systems that has become an increasingly important aspect of current cybersecurity. Unlike traditional programs that rely on predictable code, AI systems are flexible, complicated, and frequently opaque, offering significant security challenges. This complexity makes it harder to uncover vulnerabilities, especially as adversaries find new ways to modify models or incorporate malicious code.
